Adult Club Sliding
Protocol:
- All sessions are filled by pre-registration
only. Individuals wishing to slide MUST register no less
than 24 hours and no more than 6 days before the session by calling the
luge office in Park City, 435-647-3800. This must be done for each
session, no blanket “I’ll be here for every session in November” type
registrations will be allowed.
- All registration is "first come first served."
If a session fills up those trying to register will be notified that the
session is full. If you register and find you can’t come you must call.
Your not arriving may mean you’re keeping someone else from sliding and
violators will be sanctioned.
- If you do not register but choose to show up for
a session there is No Guarantee that you can slide. The
sessions have a cap number and if that number has been reached you don’t
slide…period. If there is still space you will be permitted to slide
provided you have shown up on time.
- All sessions listed show the actual time the first
sled comes down the hill. All participants for the session MUST
check in at the finish building with the coach of the session a minimum of
30 minutes prior to the listed start time.
- Open Training is for all club members. All
starts including curve 12 may be used. Race Training is only for those
members who have been cleared by the coach to race from a given start
location. In general these would include Men’s Start, Women’s Start, and
Junior’s Start. Typically there is no adult club races held from the
Tourist’s Start. All Open and Race Training sessions must adhere to the
above protocol.
